2024 Learn to Skate Holiday Show

Our annual holiday ice skating show is one of the highlights of our Learn to Skate year! It’s a FUN opportunity for skaters to show off their skills to family and friends. Make this a season to remember! Scroll down for application instructions.

Keep in mind that Fall Learn to Skate Basic Skills Classes end 11/16. Participating in the holiday show keeps skaters on the ice through 12/15!! Our Winter LTS Semester starts the week of January 6th!!!


Structure of Session

Skaters will attend rehearsals according to the schedule on this page, as well as a dress rehearsal. Showtime is Sunday, December 15th!

Skaters in the following levels may apply and participate:
– Snowplow 3-4
– Basic 1-6
– Aspire 1-4
– Adult 3-6+
Current students should select the level they are currently enrolled in. If you are a returning skater, and are not sure of your current level, contact our admin team at [email protected].


Application Fees and Deadline

The total show participation fee is $175.
The fee must be paid as follows- YOU MUST DO BOTH.

**This is the LEARN TO SKATE show application. The application for soloists is forthcoming and soloists should NOT apply using this.

$65 registration fee paid through Daysmart.

$110 costume fee paid to SFSC
(Cash or check ONLY, with application).

Dates and Schedule

Application DEADLINE and first rehearsal is Saturday, November 2nd @ 10:15am.

Because practice time is limited, skaters participating in the show must make every effort to attend ALL rehearsals as outlined below. There are not makeup opportunities, discounts, or fee reductions for missed show rehearsals.

Spectator Policy

Non-skating spectators are permitted to enter the building and observe show practices.  All spectators must adhere to current COVID-19 and facility policies.

Spectators must remain in the party booths, Eatery, or upstairs balcony. They will not be permitted to stand along the perimeter. Spectators must observe quietly, and cannot be a distraction to skaters during their lesson.
